Starting with three run down flats, Silver Bricks reinstated this dwelling into a single large house, creating perfect areas for family living as it once was. By adding a basement, rear and side extensions, we significantly increased the floor area of this property. Each floor was restructured, and box dormers were incorporated into the top floor, furthering the space gained from our modifications.
Towards the rear of the property, we removed part of the floor between the lower ground and ground floors, creating double height ceilings. This allowed us to also incorporate a single large window running across the whole of two floors filling the space with natural light; one of the key reasons Home and Garden magazine fell in love with this house. The whole of the first floor was transformed into a master bedroom suite. Complete with a 2.5m wide sweeping staircase, everything about this place shouts elegance.
Modernity was equally a feature of this property, however; a cinema room, bespoke kitchen fittings with Corian island tops and the perfect combination of up, down and pin lights ensures a perfect blend of technology and tradition.
