St. John's Wood
Charles Lane
Known for Lord’s cricket ground, Abbey Road Studios and it’s famous connection with the Beatles, St. John’s Wood is one of the most upmarket and affluent residential locations. This two storey house is situated in a quiet cobbled mews, and is part of Westminster Council’s St. John’s Wood conservation area.
We were been instructed to undertake a complete domestic refurbishment including a first level extension. After stripping out the existing fixtures and fittings to make way for a modern interior, we installed marble showers and bathrooms, underfloor heating throughout, and created bespoke joinery to extend the existing storage space. Silver Bricks even installed a large glass rooflight, a contemporary feature that is becoming ever increasingly popular in London’s fashionable residential areas. The luxury was completed with a renovated garden area, making the most of the south facing garden.
This projected required close collaberation with the clients’ appointed architect and designers to ensure that we maximise space and light, and we succeeded in creating a fantastic modern dwelling that the clients loved!
